Bright Eyes

I bought a new pillow last week since the one that I was sleeping on was over 8 years old. I'm not sure how long the lifespan of a pillow is, but after 8 years a pillow is definitely past its prime. Mine was hard and flat like a cold pancake. I decided to go to Bed Bath & Beyond and ended up purchasing some fancy schmancy faux-down pillow that promised to be a similar type to the one used in sleep clinics. It felt like a cloud with just the right amount of support when I tested it out in the store. However, when I got it home the trouble began. I started sleeping poorly, tossing and turning all night because of the unfamiliar pillow. Apparently transitioning to a new pillow is not as easy as it sounds. Anyway, as a consequence I developed these awful bluish under-eye circles that no amount of concealer could conceal. As if by some serendipitous twist of fate, I stumbled into my neighborhood drugstore and walked right into a display of Vichy Oligo 25 Eyes Anti-Fatigue Sticks. I bought one of these tiny miracles and my under-eye situation was rapidly brought under control. The tiny bright blue stick that reminds me of a miniature popsicle feels icy cool when applied to eye area and quickly shrinks bags and diminishes circles. It's a lot more convenient then spoons in the freezer, and you can bring the stick in your purse when you go out on a Saturday night and discreetly brighten up your eyes so that you look instantly more awake.
