I just got back from a three-day-weekend at the lake, and surprisingly my duffel bag is much lighter than usual. I have a tendency to over-pack (especially to bring too many beauty products), so for this recent trip I decided that instead of toting around full-sized versions of my favorite products from home, instead I would bring a good selection of travel minis. Now, in the past the travel minis that I've seen at Duane Reade and CVS have been pretty lame (i.e. tiny bottles of Scope and Johnson and Johnson shampoo). However, I've found a few good sources for high-end travel minis that have made all the difference in keeping me glamorous when I travel. Near the register at Sephora you can find tiny Fekkai glossing sprays, Rosebud Salve, and other goodies. At L'Occitane you can pick up tubes of peach blossom lip balm and a tiny tin of Bergamot Tea solid perfume that smells exactly like fresh iced tea with mint , and at Pasteur Pharmacy on 34th between Madison and Park you can get teensy bottles of Kerastase and Bumble & Bumble. Happy July 4th everyone!
