Perfect Summer Fragrance

When I was in fourth grade I had an English teacher who was raised in Greece. She loved to recount stories of her childhood to the class while we listened transfixed. My favorite story was the one where she described how she and her sisters used to eat watermelon. Apparently in Greece it is very popular to eat watermelon with sea salt, so she and her sisters would sit down at the table and pass around a tiny salt cellar and sprinkle a pinch of salt onto their slices of watermelon. I once tried it, and it actually tastes pretty delicious. This fragrance Brezza di Mare from i Profumi di Firenze reminds me of that summery combination of watermelon and sea salt. Notes of Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemons and limes impart an added crispness to the scent. The perfume was originally crafted for Florentine royalty and only during the summer months. Now, thankfully you can purchase it year-round. The scent is also unisex, so both men and women can enjoy it.
