When I was little my parents used to take me to visit a goat named Lily at a farm up in Montreal. The farm was a home for runaways and juvenile delinquents (which made my mother uneasy) and the workers manufactured their own goat's milk products. My favorite thing to buy was a bar of pure goat's milk soap stamped with a goat's face on it that came packaged in a small linen pouch. I used to wash my face with the soap before bed, and it would make my skin incredibly soft. Sure it smelled a bit like a goat farm, but there was an authenticity to it that no other bar soaps could replicate. The farm is a bit far away, and I don't think that they have a website, but I did find Beekman 1802, a gorgeous farm website that sells authentic goat's milk soap (it even comes packaged in a tiny pouch).
