Art History for a Cause
FreeRice.com, the website that donates 20 grains of rice to the hungry for every correct answer you give, now has an art history trivia section. I'm already addicted to their English, German, and Spanish vocab categories, and I was really excited when I learned that they have an art history portion. The art history section features a painting where you must identify the artist. It ranges from easy survey level stuff to really tricky ones that even a seasoned art historian might have trouble getting right. The best part is that if you get an answer wrong a few questions later they will ask the same question again, so that you have the opportunity to actually learn and retain factual information. It's fun for a good cause, which is the best form of procrastination that there is!
