Fornasetti For Less

I've been enamored with Piero Fornasetti's work ever since I laid eyes on this Architecture Trumeau which was designed by Gio Ponti and decorated by Fornasetti. Unfortunately, this design piece is not within this art historian's budget. However, I've discovered that on ebay I'm able to find affordable Fornasetti items that allow me to indulge in his design aesthetic without breaking the bank. I'm currently admiring this scarf, but also have my eye on this amazing lamp, this pair of cufflinks from Barneys, and this plate. The woman's face featured on the plate is that of opera singer Lina Cavalieri, a recurrent motif in Fornasetti's work. He came across her face originally on the page of a nineteenth-century magazine, and it served as an extensive source of inspiration for the artist.
