Chelsea Greenmarket: PS 11

Chelsea residents rejoice! We no longer have to schlep to the Union Square Greenmarket to get amazing produce. Stoneledge Farm (that looks like something out of a Bruegel painting) is bringing its fruits and veggies to us. I recently saw a flyer for the student-run Farm Market at PS 11 in Chelsea. It's an event that's part of Chelsea CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Their website has great info with vegetable recipes, deets about the Lucien's rooftop party (I'm totally going), and info on getting a veggie share.

Here are the details for the Farm Market:

Location: In front of PS 11 (21st street between 8th and 9th avenue)
Wednesday mornings 8-12
June 18-November 28

I'm planning on going next Wednesday. Let me know in the comments section if you've shopped there before.

Thanks for the info. While I have never been to this greenmarket but hope to go, there is a site online, cenyc, where you can find greenmarkets all over the city!
